The Alloheim Senior Citizens’ Residence “Anna Margareta” starts a painting campaign for children

Press release from 03/31/2022

Only a few more weeks until Easter is just around the corner! As a little anticipation for this festival, the Alloheim senior citizens’ residence “Anna Margareta” is now calling on all kindergartens, day-care centers, elementary schools and children in the region to take part in the big drawing campaign. Until Easter Sunday, April 17th, all little artists can hand in the works they have painted or made on the topic “The Easter Bunny and I” at the facility and will be rewarded with sweets.

Bad Marienberg. The first flowers are already beginning to bloom, the days are getting longer and the sub-zero temperatures are gradually disappearing: spring has begun and Easter is just around the corner! “Especially for children, this time has a very special magic,” says facility manager Dörthe Burmeister, “to increase the anticipation of Easter a little, we have come up with a very special campaign for the youngest generation this year.” The Alloheim senior citizens’ residence is therefore looking for very young artists for a large Easter painting campaign.

The task is to create a picture with the motto “The Easter Bunny and I”. The painted or crafted works should then be handed in at the facility at Weberstraße 6 in Bad Marienberg by Easter Sunday, April 17th.

“All families, daycare centers, kindergartens and elementary schools are cordially invited to take part in our Easter campaign,” says Burmeister, “our seniors are already looking forward to lots of colorful and creative pictures or handicrafts.”

Of course, there are also a lot of prizes to be won in the competition. A sweet Easter surprise awaits all participating children. The works of art will of course be exhibited afterwards in the residence.

“We hope that many pictures will be handed in at our house,” says Dörthe Burmeister and reveals: “Our seniors are already looking forward to it.” (PM)
