The AECC Murcia joins a solidarity race to help cancer patients affected by COVID-19 | Radio Murcia

The AECC Murcia collaborates in the Longest Race in History to raise funds that will help cancer patients who are affected by their socio-occupational situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The AECC Murcia joins a solidarity race to help cancer patients affected by COVID-19


Those who want to participate may register in aecc.es/la-carrera-mas-larga, choose the Murcia option and make a minimum donation of € 5. With this, 1 kilometer will be contributed to this race that has more than 21,000 routes throughout Spain. Then they can share videos and images making that kilometer on their social networks, the aecc will share those videos from May 8 to 11. On Sunday May 10, from 10:00 a.m., the AECC Murcia will broadcast an event with sports activities from Facebook.

Throughout this health crisis, the AECC has assisted more than 20,000 people through its telematic channels, offering psychological attention to health personnel. To this effort of each person is added the extraordinary contribution of 3 million euros to the social fund, destined to cover this economic emergency in which many families will find themselves through COVID-19.
