It is really depraved behavior of primary school teachers in Jatiasih, Bekasi, West Java. The teacher was caught harass his student.
“Yes, that’s right,” the head of Polres Metro Bekasi City Public Relations Subdivision Kompol Erna told reporters on Wednesday (11/16/2022). Erna answered whether the case of harassment committed by a primary school teacher in Jatiasih against her students was true or not.
Even so, Erna did not disclose this harassment case in detail. The number of victims is also not known with certainty.
The city government acts firmly
Bekasi city education bureau chief UU Saeful Mikdar vowed to take firm action against the teacher if he is found guilty of sexual harassment.
“We will prosecute and prosecute the individual concerned. We will take firm action against the individual by processing the unilateral dismissal, writing to the BKPSDM to follow up,” Uu said in his statement.
Uu ensured that the internal process at the Bekasi City Education Bureau had begun. “I order it to be processed intensively, summon the interested parties and act firmly,” Uu said.
The Bekasi City Bureau of Education will recommend a dishonorable discharge to the offender. In addition, the Bekasi City Education Bureau supports the processing of this case within the scope of the law.
According to him, this case due to child sexual abuse violated the law number 35 of 2014 on the protection of minors. Additionally, Disdik coordinates with the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection.
Uu invites all parties to empathize while protecting the identity of the victim. This is an effort so that the victims do not suffer more serious psychological and social impacts.
“It was agreed that there should be no acts of harassment or violence of any kind. The world of education needs to be cleansed of people like that and provide full protection,” Uu said.
