The New York International Antiquarian Book Fair (NYIABF) returns to the Park Avenue Armory (643 Park Avenue, Manhattan) April 4-7. OKAN in the Atrium of Lincoln Center

The Afro-Cuban group OKAN, led by singer-songwriters Elizabeth Rodríguez on violin and Magdelys Savigne on percussion, will be performing this Friday, April 5 at the Atrium of Lincoln Center (61 W 62nd St). “Earth” exhibition at MoMA PS1

MoMA PS1 inaugurates this week the work of Guatemalan artist Regina José Galindo, a monumental video call installation Tierra, which explores the connections between labor exploitation, resources, and human life in Guatemala. Dominican comedy show

The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts (250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, Bronx) will be presenting the comedy show “El Dominicano es un Joke,” featuring some of the Dominican Republic’s most beloved first-generation comedians, Jockey Santos, Felipe Polanco “Borunga” and Cuquín Victoria, along with Carlos Sánchez and Juan Carlos Pichardo. Presentation of Puerto Rican poetry

The House of Puerto Rican Cultural Heritage, in collaboration with the writers Myrna Nieves and Yarisa Colón Torres, invites you to celebrate the publication of the book by the Puerto Rican poet Mairym Cruz Bernal, “This way of flying in a balloon”, published by Editorial Lúdika. Solar eclipse viewing party

New on Broadway: The Notebook

Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling novel, which inspired the famous movie “The Notebook,” was once revived to give life to a new Broadway musical. The production original tells the love story of Alie and Noah, two people from different worlds who share a life of love despite the forces that threaten to tear them apart, in a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love.

Produced by Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch, The Notebook features music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson and a book by playwright Bekah Brunstetter (writer and producer of NBC’s “This Is Us,” The Cake). The production is directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, RENT) and Schele Williams (Aida, The Wiz), with choreography by Katie Spelman (Associate Choreographer on Moulin Rouge! The Musical).

The cast of The Notebook includes Tony Award winner Maryann Plunkett as Older Allie, Dorian Harewood as Older Noah, Joy Woods as Middle Allie, Ryan Vasquez as Middle Noah, Jordan Tyson as Young Allie, John Cardoza as Young Noah, Andréa Burns as Mother/Nurse Lori, Carson Stewart as Johnny/Fin.
