During the afternoon of this Saturday, Ministry of Health made known his 44° Epidemiological Report with details on the situation of the coronavirus COVID-19 in the country.
The document details that Antofagasta, Arica, Puente Alto and Copiapó continue among the communes with the highest number of active cases, in other words, people who have the virus and are in a stage of the disease in which they can infect others.
Regarding the last installment, it stands out that most of the communes that head the list have a number considerably less than report n ° 43, with the exception of Punta Arenas, being the only one of the first 10, together with Coquimbo and Concepción, which increased their cases.

The capital of the Magallanes region went from position 9 to fifth on the list of communes with the most active cases, increasing from 379 to 476 in just a few days.
It should be remembered that at the national level there were 18,437 active cases as of August 21.
