The Bundesliga club BG Göttingen had actually wanted to end the season preparation on Saturday with a test match against Science City Jena from the ProA. But the dress rehearsal in the basketball center at Schützenplatz fell through because Jena canceled the game at short notice due to the tense staff situation. The violets announced this at noon through their channels on social networks. A replacement for the canceled test game is currently not planned.

First competitive game next weekend

After six test games, the balance of the Göttingen team in the preparation for the season is balanced: They won against the Fraport Skyliners (83:76), the Paderborn Baskets (104: 69) and against Aalst (85:79). The Veilchen only narrowly lost in the South Lower Saxony duel against the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig (85:87) and against the EWE Baskets Oldenburg (78:87). On the other hand, the 66:95 in the Munich Audi Dome against FC Bayern was more pronounced.
