Tesla denied the allegations and sued the woman. Recently, the court ordered the protesting women to apologize publicly, pay compensation to Tesla, and cover the costs of evaluating the vehicle.
During the trial, the court appointed an independent agency to evaluate the woman’s Model 3 brakes. It was concluded that the brakes were in normal condition. The woman who protested at the Shanghai Auto Show was ordered to delete comments that damaged Tesla’s reputation on her social networks, pay compensation of 2,000 yuan to Tesla, cover legal processing costs of 25,390 yuan, and 20,000 yuan for vehicle evaluation.
