Terry Silver returns in a teaser for Season 4 of “Cobra Kai”.
“Cobra Kai” is currently my favorite television series: What Disney did not succeed in the more recent “Star Wars” films, succeeds spectacularly here: You have “The Karate Kid” with a lot of awe of the icons of the 1980s and yet modern freshness into the modern age fetched. The stories of the films are regularly continued in the series. Many of the characters from Daniel LaRusso’s trilogy have already appeared on the series, and they are all played by the original cast. Terry Silver, a well-known figure, is about to make a comeback.
The over-the-top villain in “The Karate Kid Part III” was Terry Silver. That was by far the weakest of the three films. I didn’t count the fourth part, “The Next Karate Kid”, with Hilary Swank, because it looked like a spin-off. However, Thomas Ian Griffith’s portrayal of Silver was, in his humorous way, a highlight in Part 3. I’m curious to see how the character has developed over time and what he’s up to in “Cobra Kai”. It’s likely not going to be good if you follow the tagline “Now the real misery begins”.
Season 4 of “Cobra Kai” is currently without a premiere date. The new season will premiere on Netflix, similar to the previous one. The streaming service has adopted the format from YouTube and is currently broadcasting the first two seasons. I can’t say enough good things about the show for both fans of The Karate Kid movies and newbies. Great series for young and old that also makes fun of some modern trends, such as political correctness.
Season 4 of “Cobra Kai” is expected to air in late 2021 or early 2022. I’m really excited about the next few episodes. Have you seen the whole series?
