In Tenorin theaters May 4, MB14 plays Antoine, a young suburbanite from Paris. He studies accounting without much conviction, dividing his time between rap battles which he uses with talent and his job as a sushi deliveryman.
On a trip to the Opéra Garnier, his path crosses that of Mme Loyseau (Michael Laroque), a singing teacher in the prestigious institution, who finds in Antoine a raw talent to nurture.
Despite the lack of lyrical culture, Antoine is fascinated by this kind of expression and is sure to follow Ms. Loyseau’s teachings. Antoine has no choice but to lie to his family, his friends and the whole city for whom opera is a bourgeois thing, far from their world.
