Teenagers and Foreign Students Involved in Drone Assembly: Alarming Conditions and Supply from Iran to Russia

Teenagers are attracted to the assembly of drones

At first, according to a source of journalists, the work involved mainly teenagers aged 15-17, who entered college after the ninth grade of school.

Now students of all courses are engaged in assembling drones.

“Just the day before yesterday, they sent 150 new students from the second and third courses,” one of the students said.

Students get paid but threatened with expulsion for comments

The salary of students involved in the assembly of drones depends on the implementation of the plan – on average, this is an amount in the region of 30-40 thousand rubles (330-442 dollars – ed.). They are officially paid. At the same time, students say that they are not paid extra for overtime and work on weekends.

Some complain that sometimes they have to work for several days in a row without sleep and almost without food.

“Those who are involved in the assembly of drones are forbidden to talk about what they do, under the threat of expulsion, students say. This is stated in the contract. For violation, the student will have to pay a fine in the amount of 1.5 to 2 million rubles (16.5 thousand – 22.1 thousand dollars – ed.)”, – writes the publication.

Foreign children are involved in the assembly of drones

In addition, underage students from African countries are attracted to the production of drones. The idea of this scheme, as the authors of the investigation say, belonged to Timur Shagivalev, director general of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

African students themselves were in no hurry to volunteer for college, so they were recruited through the dating apps Tinder and Badoo.

Supply of drones from Iran to Russia

Iran last year began to transfer Shahed kamikaze drones to the Russian occupiers. The enemy regularly uses such UAVs to attack the territory of our country.

Earlier, the media reported that preparations are underway in Tatarstan to launch the production of Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russia is actively using in the war against Ukraine.

Then John Kirby, coordinator of the US National Security Council at the White House, reported that Iran was providing Russia with the materials needed to build a plant for the production of Shahed kamikaze drones.
