On the night of Sunday there was a knife attack in Vienna-Meidling. A 16-year-old attacked a 22-year-old and stabbed him.
Officials of the Viennese standby unit were called to a dispute in an apartment near Gaudenzdorfer Gürtel (Meidling) on Sunday at around 2:30 a.m. The alerted police officers found a 16-year-old with injuries in the head area and a 22-year-old with a stab wound in the upper body in the apartment.
According to the current investigation, there should have been a dispute over drugs. The 16-year-old is said to have completely lost control, grabbed a knife and stabbed his opponent in the upper body. He was immediately detained at the home.
Both parties involved received emergency medical care from the Viennese professional rescue team and the 22-year-old was taken to a hospital. In the apartment, the police found a higher amount of cash, as well as suspected addictive drug residues, which were seized as well as the alleged murder weapon.
