Radio Hamburg megastar Taylor Swift (32) broke another record with her new album “Midnights”: she is the first artist ever to hit the top ten on the Billboard charts in the United States. This was announced on Monday (October 31) by the magazine “Billboard”.
All top 10 places go to Taylor Swift
All the places in the top ten are taken from the songs of their new album, released on October 21st. The song “Anti-Hero” is number one. Swift responded to the hit on Twitter: “10 out of 10 on the Hot 100? With my 10th album?” She asked in a tweet, writing that she was baffled by the announcement. According to Billboard, the previous record holder was Canadian Drake, whose album “Certified Lover Boy” captured nine of the top ten positions on the US charts in 2021.
Not the first record for “Midnights”
With “Midnights” Swift had previously set two new records on Spotify, among other things. The album streamed more times in a day than any previous album, Spotify announced on Saturday. It also made the singer the most streamed one day artist in the history of the service.
