EQUALITY – As pride month draws to a close, American actress Taylor Schilling, known for her portrayal of prisoner Piper Chapman in the series “Orange Is the New Black”, has formalized her relationship with artist Emily Ritz.
This Sunday, June 28, she shared a photo of them two, originally published as a story on her partner’s Instagram account. We see them close to each other, on the edge of what seems to be a mountain in the fog.
“I can’t be more proud than by your side,” writes the folk singer by way of legend. A few hearts accompany his words, as you can see in the photo below.

According to Just Jared, the two young women met at the end of last year thanks to mutual friends. It is the first time that Taylor Schilling has publicly shown her love for a woman. His sexuality, source of rumors, remained for a long time in private.

His remarks echo the series “Orange Is the New Black” during which relationships between women, sexual fluidity, are almost the norm and where LGBTI characters are examined from every angle.
