‘Tawakkalna’ app mandatory to enter public places in Saudi

Dammam: The Ministry of Health has requested that the Tawakkalna application be downloaded to access public markets and shopping malls in the Eastern Province of Dammam. Authorities have instructed the public to abide by it from today (Sunday). The Eastern Province Health Department has officially announced on social media that the move is part of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Kovid.

Tawakkalna is an application released for curfew exit and traffic control. This is the official application approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health to limit the spread of the corona virus. By registering with this app you will be able to record health related information and receive timely alerts from the government and concerned departments.

The application was launched with the help of the National Information Center. The app not only provides information directly to the users but also helps in early detection of suspected cases of corona virus in case of symptoms of infection. It is also possible through the app to warn from isolated or localized areas, and to provide the necessary medical care when suspicious cases are reported. Authorities also warned that strong action would be taken against those who did not follow the Kovid defense protocol.
