At the 77th Golden Globes in Los Angeles, there were an unusually large number of non-US award winners in the television categories – for example, Olivia Colman received a trophy for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in “The Crown”. Quentin Tarantino was awarded prizes in the film categories for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and Brad Pitt for his role in the same. Joaquin Phoenix was also honored as “Joker” and Renée Zellweger, who took part in the event again for the first time in ten years.
