The Association for Villaferrueña Abuyaco has scheduled a talk with the title “History of vaccines, from the past to the present”which will be carried out by the Dr. Carlos Martín Montañés, professor at the University of Zaragoza and one of the world’s leading experts on vaccines.
The talk will take place next Saturday, October 7, at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Villaferrueña City Council,
Carlos Martín Montañés is an Aragonese scientist, professor of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zaragoza and directs the Mycobacterial Genetics Group since 1992, working in research and development of new live vaccines against tuberculosis. She is a member of the Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative (TBVI) Advisory Committee, with over 25 years of experience in mycobacterial genetics. He is the author of numerous publications.
