“We want to prevent further money from being spent on planning and implementing parking space management until the result of the referendum,” writes SPD parliamentary group leader Alexander Kolbow in a press release on the ongoing citizens’ initiative “Free parking on the Talavera”. This is directed against the introduction of a parking tariff, which was decided by the majority of the Würzburg City Council in January and includes the use of local public transport.
