Take a look at the Tesla factory near Berlin. The drone also flew past the unique machines

Tesla’s gigafactory near Berlin, Germany, did not open until the end of March this year. The company has now released a video made by a drone, thanks to which it is possible to see under the cover of production. The video also shows unique giant die-casting machines that make cars similar to “English”.

So far, there have been very few mortals visiting the Tesla factory in Grünheide near Berlin. The company, led by its boss Elon Musek, did not open the plant until March 22 this year (more info here) and invited only selected guests to the event, as well as customers to whom it handed over the first few freshly produced Tesel Model Y.

Now the carmaker has released a video on its YouTube channel, in which a masterfully piloted drone filmed how cars are made. For technology enthusiasts, perhaps the most interesting opportunity is to see giant machines in action, which produce aluminum parts by high-pressure casting, similar to small “English”.

In this way, it is possible to produce, for example, the entire rear floor, as can be seen in the video, where this part is pulled out of a machine called Gigapress by a robotic arm. In this way, the carmaker saves significant costs and also speeds up production. More about technology read here.
