David Turner Jr., an 8-year-old boy with brain cancer, always had the dream of working in the famous Mexican fast food chain Taco Bell, according to the Thrillist portal.

According to his mother, the little one – originally from Louisville, Kentucky – said he wanted to make tacos in the restaurant, but she always replied that would have to wait until 15 years to do it. Given this, the boy replied that it was absurd, because he was very capable of preparing tacos.

To fulfill his wish, the mother contacted the chain, who was pleased to give David a place as an honorary employee of Taco Bell.

“I was very surprised that this was his dream, but I was very excited when he came here,” said Judd Whishnow, owner of the branch where the child was employed.

It should be noted that the mother decided to fulfill her son’s dream, because they discovered that her brain cancer was progressing, which means that the child could have the days counted, according to Fox News.

According to Wishnow, the little boy did a great job receiving customer orders and helping with different tasks in the dining room.

“It’s exciting because unfortunately he may not reach 15 years and have a first job with the type of diagnosis he has,” said his mother.

When the boy was asked what his favorite Taco Bell dish was, he immediately replied: “Nachos, nachos, nachos are number 1”.
