Switzerland: Shutdown hardly reduces mobility

While the number of infections is falling, according to the Federal Office of Public Health, the effect of the shutdown on mobility in Switzerland is small. The daily distance that people in Switzerland covered has hardly changed since the recent shutdown on January 18. This is shown by the figures from Intervista AG. Among other things, it examines the mobility behavior of the population on behalf of the Federal Corona Task Force using a sample of a good 2500 people. During the first shutdown in spring, the average distance halved from 40 to around 20 kilometers per person. (swisstxt)
