Luxury Design, Yet Sporty

Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan comes with the latest A Class design language from Mercy. From the front, the grille design uses a sweet-looking twin louvres model. But also mated with a number of sharp bodies typical of AMG.

Slide to the side, in general the design of this A 35 4MATIC Sedan looks calm. However, if you look at it in more detail, the presence of calipers and braking devices from AMG, shows its class that is ready to be brought to the race track. Plus, the specs of the wheels that use the AMG ring 19 rims wrapped in Pirelli size 235/35-19 should increase the driver’s confidence when driving this sedan.

Looking back, of course, the hallmark of the A-Class Saloon is still thick. However, the presence of a more sporty AMG-style diffuser makes this car look more fierce. Coupled with the presence of a rounded exhaust design, it looks very compatible with the sporty diffuser design.

Well, when you enter the cabin of the AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan, you can immediately feel the sporty aura. With all-black shades and lots of soft materials from leather to alcantara used, it makes us feel at home sitting for long in the cabin of this compact sedan.

Typical of a sedan, sitting in the rear passenger seat feels comfortable. There’s still plenty of legroom left and enough headroom, even though I’m 175cm tall. However, there is one thing that needs to be considered, the rear cabin of the AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan will be less comfortable if filled by three adult passengers because the tunnel is quite high.

Moving to the pilot cabin, this AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan immediately welcomes with a sophisticated and modern impression. The cluster instrument screen seems to blend with the multimedia screen that is equipped with the MBUX advanced multimedia system. So not only pleasing to the eye, but also fun to control.

The difference between the AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan and the A-Class Saloon is the ‘AMG mode’ which is present on the instrument cluster screen as well as the multimedia screen. This AMG mode will display the amount of power that comes out to information about the engine or other performance that makes us feel like we are in a racing car.

Overall, the design of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan is indeed very interesting. The luxury can still be carried in and out of office buildings, but for weekend use on the circuit it doesn’t look clunky either.
