LIVE Techno – Huawei confirms that it will soon release its newest smartwatches, Watch GT 4 and Watch Ultimate, in Indonesia. These two smartwatches will be released in Indonesia on October 5.
Huawei Watch GT 4 was released globally on September 14 and comes in two sizes, namely 46 mm and 41 mm. Especially for the Watch GT 4, the 46 mm size looks more masculine.
The 41 mm Watch GT 4 smartwatch looks slimmer, more elegant and minimalist than its ‘brother’. Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch Ultimate was released first in Europe last April. Huawei Watch Ultimate has a premium design using Zirconium material.

Huawei Watch GT 4 has improved features compared to its predecessor, for example health and sports features. For health features, this smart watch is equipped with the latest TruSeen 5.5 Plus, which is claimed to be more accurate in monitoring heart rate rhythm and blood oxygen levels (SpO2).
This monitoring is said to be 30 percent more accurate (heart rate) and 15 percent (blood oxygen levels) than its predecessor. Huawei Watch GT 4 is also equipped with pulse wave arrhythmia analysis technology which is able to check periodic heartbeats accurately.
Huawei Watch GT 4 is equipped with TruSleep 3.0 technology to monitor the user’s sleep quality. This feature not only monitors the user’s sleep duration, but also the user’s breathing pattern while resting, which is named ‘Sleep Breathing Awareness’.
This smart watch also has Intelligent Menstrual Cycle Tracking 3.0 technology. This technology is here to help female users control their menstrual cycle and estimate their ovulation period more accurately.
Regarding sports features, the smartwatch has more than 100 sports modes with technology called ‘Activity Rings’, so it can monitor the number of calories burned, exercise duration and record user activity time. Apart from that, users can enjoy more than 200 sports exercises in the Huawei Health application.
Huawei Watch Ultimate has a premium design using Zirconium material. This liquid metal material is said to make the smartwatch feel comfortable and rust-resistant.
Not only that, the smart watch is 2.5 times stronger, 4.5 times sturdier and 17.4 percent lighter than its predecessor. Huawei Watch Ultimate has a 1.5 inch AMOLED LTPO screen, with glass made of sapphire. Apart from that, there are also physical buttons made from titanium.
Huawei Watch Ultimate can be used for diving, because of the Scuba Diving Mode feature, with resistance to a depth of 100 meters or 10 ATM. The smartwatch can withstand even a pressure of 1 million pascals.
Apart from the diving feature, the Huawei Watch Ultimate has an expedition mode, for users who like to do activities outside the home, for example exploring in the mountains.
Huawei Watch GT 4 size 46 mm is available in Indonesia in Black (with black rubber strap), Brown (with brown leather strap), Green (green nylon strap), and Gray (stainless steel strap).
Meanwhile, the 41 mm variant is divided into Black (black fluororubber strap), White (white leather strap) and Silver (stainless steel strap). Initial orders (pre-orders) start from 5 to 27 October 2023, online or offline at Huawei stores and partner marketplaces. The price has not yet been announced.
