When did you decide to move away from the field of art?
I took the decision to retire about a year ago after reflection and it was not a hasty or surprising decision, on the contrary I took it at my full will.
What are the reasons for deciding to retire at this time?
The field of art has become uncomfortable for me and bored of the general climate, so I decided to respect myself and walk away quietly and the work in the field is no longer related to success or acting skills, there are many failed and continuing people in the work, continuing in this field is a psychological and nervous burden on any artist He respects his work and his fans.
Did not showing you new business recently help you get away from the scene?
On the contrary, I am a regular in the series “The Big House”, which achieved great success, and this decision has nothing to do with failure in the field, and recently I was offered a lot of work.
What difficulties did you encounter recently in the field of art?
Recently, the work became associated with paralysis, after it was only in the cinema. This problem moved to the video as well. Certain people collaborate with each other in the works, regardless of their success or failure. Everything became strange and incomprehensible. I used to work with great artists and directors, and my work that I adore has become I am not happy.
Is your daughter surprised like the audience with your decision?
No, you were not surprised. I spoke to her about this issue more than once and took the decision and backed down several times over the past year.
Did you make the decision to walk away due to some stress?
Absolutely I do not suffer from depression, I am currently very happy with my decision, and I have a desire to enjoy my life and exercise daily and keep my body and form and attend social events.
What is the closest business to your heart?
My participation in the series “Raafat Al-Hajan” was the second part of the most important artistic stations to stand in front of a great artist such as the star Mahmoud Abdulaziz, my participation in the series “Al-Attar and the Seven Girls” with the late artist Nour al-Sharif, and the series “Gate of Halawani” part two, and my participation with the leader Adel Imam in The series “Professor and Head of Department” and “His Excellency”.
Did any of your friends in the artistic community try to persuade you to back down?
There have been many of my friends who have contacted me since yesterday, including Captain Ashraf Zaki, Maha Ahmed, Majdi Kamel, Nada Basyouni and Simon.
