Actor Yoo Yeon-seok filed a criminal complaint against the character revealing article.

On the 24th, an official from King Kong by Starship, Yoo Yeon-seok’s agency, said, “On the 23rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency filed a complaint against the original author of the online community disclosure article on charges of defamation and publishing false information.”

This is a truth battle that started on the 21st from an article in the internet community. One netizen A posted a post claiming that the security guard who worked at the apartment where Yoo Yeon-seok lived in the past was his father, and that he was insulted and ignored by Yoo Yeon-seok at the time. In the meantime, as much as Yoo Yeon-seok has been loved for his good and upright image, the wave of the article was great.

As the aftermath grew, the agency took an official position and refuted that Mr. A’s claim was groundless. The agency said, “As a result of confirming the facts with the actor, we have confirmed that the contents are completely unfounded.”

Later, as a false apology for impersonating Mr. A was uploaded, interest in the case was further gathered. Another netizen, Mr. B, pretended to be Mr. A and apologized, saying, “I wrote this out of jealousy after appearing on variety shows and gaining popularity recently. I didn’t know things would grow this big.”

In response, the agency announced that it would proceed with a criminal complaint regardless of this, and foreshadowed a strong response to the disclosure.
