Authorities are searching for the man suspected of robbing an 8-year-old boy in Brooklyn, New York City Police said.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 22, at about 5:45 am, when the alleged thief approached the 8-year-old minor and forcibly snatched the yarmulke from his head before fleeing. A yarmulke is the round cap used by Jews to cover the crown, especially in religious acts, according to the RAE.
The New York City Police Hate Crimes Unit is investigating the case.
