Suspect of participating in homicide at Juazeiro Carnival is arrested
Group has already arrived shooting, in crime motivated by drug trafficking dispute

One of those involved in the death of Andreson Eden de Andrade, in January of this year, during the Juazeiro Carnival, was arrested by investigators from the Juazeiro police station, this Wednesday (28).
“We proceeded with the investigation and the DH team quickly identified the author of the crime, motivated by disputes between groups involved in drug trafficking”, says delegate Thiago Pessoa.
According to the investigation, Andreson was with his friends on the party circuit when they stopped to rest on Avenida Adolfo Viana and were surprised by the criminals. The bandits arrived shooting and hit Andreson and another boy, who was injured. Andreson died at the scene.
The prisoner was sent for bodily injury examinations at the Technical Police Department (DPT) and must be transferred to the prison system. The others involved in the crime are being sought.
