Around 03:35 an alarm was also announced in the capital, and then in the Kyiv region.

“In areas where an air alert has been declared – missile danger! Launches of cruise missiles from Tu-95MS,” the Armed Forces warned.

Around four o’clock in the morning, the alarm expanded to the western regions.

Russian air attacks on Ukraine

Over the past few months, Russian invaders have been intensively attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones. The occupiers are targeting both civilian infrastructure and airfields or ports. As a result of enemy attacks, civilians are killed and injured.

On the night of August 25, the Russians attacked the Odessa region twice with rockets. All missiles were shot down, and there is no information about damage yet.

In addition, it was reported that air defense forces destroyed a missile and a drone in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The wreckage damaged a private house and a gas pipeline in the Grushevskaya community.

Recall also that on August 25 during the day in Ukraine, a large-scale air alert was announced six times. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the takeoffs of Russian MiG-31K fighters. This aircraft is the carrier of the Kinzhal aeroballistic missile, which is difficult to shoot down by air defense forces. Fortunately, there were no reports of shelling.

However, during the constant air raids, the Russians launched two Shaheda missiles from a southeasterly direction. Air defense forces shot down both drones in the Kharkiv region.
