Suspect in front of the gate after murder of 78-year-old neighbor | Inland

The resident of the Parc Zonnehove apartment complex in Oostkapelle is suspected of having killed his 78-year-old fellow resident with a knife on 24 May 2019. The Oostkapelse was found injured in her apartment in May and died on the spot.

The suspect lives in the same apartment complex. There is a lot of unrest among the residents. The suspect has allegedly been terrorizing his neighbors for a long time. Various residents have stated to the police that they are very afraid of him.

The suspect F. has always denied having killed his neighbor, and even claims never to have been in her home. Even though a lot of his DNA has been found there, on the inside of the door handle. In addition, cell material was found – in smaller quantities – from a witness, the victim and a fourth unknown person.

F. was not present at previous introductory sessions, because of the many other neighbors and the media present. He will be present on Friday morning for the substantive handling of the case – which is scheduled for 9 a.m.
