Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh saddened by the news from the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) has been suspected by the KPK. Surya Paloh is sad because SYL was suspected while still abroad.
Paloh conveyed this at the NasDem Tower, Jakarta, Thursday (5/10). He held a press conference after SYL returned to Indonesia.
The news that SYL was a suspect was initially revealed by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md. He admitted that he had received information that SYL had become a suspect at the KPK.
“That he (SYL) is already a suspect? Yes, I have received information, in fact since his exposure it has been a long time since he was a suspect. But officially as a suspect, yes, he has been declared,” said Mahfud at the Palace complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/ 10).
As if there is no tomorrow
Surya Paloh was also saddened by the news. He admitted that he was sad that SYL had been suspected even though he had not yet returned from abroad.
“There is no such thing as tomorrow to wait for him to return. This is something that really bothers me,” said Surya Paloh at the NasDem Tower, Jakarta, Thursday (5/10).
