A group of surfers has rescued from the water the lifeless body of a man who appeared floating on Bastiagueiro beach, in the Corus de Oleiros municipality.
According to sources from the emergency services, the body corresponds to that of a man between the ages of 60 and 65 who was located by the athletes at around 12:45 p.m. this Saturday.
The surfers took the body out of the water and took it to the shore, where the health services displaced to the beach by Sanitary Emergencies 061 confirmed his death.
Members of the Judicial Police have mobilized to the place, as well as agents of the Local Police and the Oleiros emergency service.
