Supermodels and Celebrities Shine at Milan Fashion Week

Supermodels in partner looks and a cell phone background from Kylie Jenner that, for some, outshines even Swarovski crystals – Fashion Week in Milan also has a lot to offer beyond the catwalks. A look at the celebrity parade.

There is no respite for the stars, after all, September is the month of fashion. And that means: In just a few weeks, models will be walking in hundreds of shows – and at least as many celebrities will be walking up and down in front of the photographers and the gossip on social media during this time.

After Fashion Weeks in New York and London, the fashion world is currently flocking to Milan before turning around on high heels (this year, given the trends, perhaps on biker boats) and rushing to elegant Paris.

And what the Italian capital of fashion has already achieved in terms of celebrities! The model icons of the 90s from Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell to Kate Moss joined the top models of subsequent generations such as Cara Delevigne, Toni Garrn and Winnie Harlow in the front rows.

Now out and about on the catwalks: your offspring. After Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford, and Lila Moss, daughter of Kate who was present in Milan, another supermodel daughter is now part of the group. Grace Burns’ debuted in Milan at Italian designer Alberta Ferretti’s show in a sheer, asymmetrical dress with a floral print.

Stars like Demi Moore and Naomi Watts didn’t just bring Hollywood to Europe with their oversized sunglasses.

And because the models of the 90s are still icons today, but the times are different, this year’s Milan Fashion Week is of course Instagrammable. Prada let slime run down the concrete ceiling of the Fondazione Prada in front of stars like Scarlett Johansson and Amal Clooney. The models in their kitten heels were allowed to circle the pale pink puddles for the rest of the show.

Always ready to spark a buzz on social media, a welcome guest is entrepreneur Kylie Jenner. The change that was recently said to have occurred in Jenner’s wardrobe seemed to be confirmed in Milan: At Prada, the reality star appeared in a skirt – or rather a net – made of teardrop-shaped Swarovski crystals over a black bodycon dress with the Prada logo on the turtleneck , sunglasses and pointed heels in black.
