Tesco, PENNY, Albert and Kaufland. Their social networks are normally full of discounts or contests. But in the last few days the theme is the same. Ecology. Whether in the form of conservation, waste prevention or vegetarianism. The big chains started appealing to their customers in different ways, all at once.

All posts are very recent and have the same topic. It’s almost as if the chains started an environmental campaign all at once. “Did you know that by washing in colder water and on a short cycle, you can save up to 75% of energy? Thanks to the unique Cool Clean technology, Ariel detergents are an ideal helper for this purpose. Go cold with Ariel, too!” is the advertisement of the Albert store chain, which it published today on its Facebook profile.

Albert also appeals to people not to waste so much. “From time to time it happens to everyone that their bread is hard. If you have leftover pastry, we have 5 tips for you on what to make with it. For example, croutons, bread in an egg, thickening goulash, bread soup. Or simply breadcrumbs. Don’t make the pastries tough and help us not to waste!’

Penny Market talked about vegetarianism for a change, three days ago “Being a vegetarian does not mean eating only vegetables, the present time offers many great alternatives instead of meat. Are you vegetarian or team meat? Let us know in our poll!” invites the retail chain.

“Always keep the flyer handy and don’t miss out on new events! Subscribe to our flyer via the WhatsApp application and every Sunday you will receive a digital flyer on your phone, saving not only time, but also trees!” Kaufland urges in its next post for change.

“Autumn is here. You can compost the raked leaves in a composter without any regrets. However, you can also use the composter to process other garden and kitchen waste. But even composting has its own rules. Do you know what definitely does not belong in the composter? Vote, write us the correct answer, and win 500 CZK for your next purchase. You can compete until Sunday 8/10. Also go through our flyer and discover other great offers that you will appreciate when cleaning up your garden in the fall,” writes Kaufland.
