Sunniva (23) was killed in Åsane – the family honors her with a memorial fund

Assistance lawyer Beate Hamre informs TV 2 that the family wants to go out with Sunniva’s name to honor her and focus on the fund and its purpose.

The family writes on one minneside that Sunniva throughout life showed a strong commitment to children and young people who, for various reasons, physical illness, mental illness, difficult conditions for growing up, or other reasons, had difficulty.

The purpose of the fund is to support work to help young vulnerable people.

It was Bergens Tidende who first reported the case.

It was the night before Sunday 12 September that the police found a young woman seriously injured in her own apartment in Åsane in Bergen. A man in his late 20s was arrested nearby and charged in the case.

Five days later, Sunniva died of her injuries at Haukeland University Hospital, and the charge against the man was extended from attempted murder to murder.
