It is reported that Kim Eun-hye, chief of public relations at the presidential office, is being investigated by police, suspected of underestimating his property during the local elections on June 1.

According to Yonhap News, the Gyeonggi Bundang Police Station is investigating Kim, accused of violating the law on the election of public officials by the Democratic Party of Korea on the afternoon of the 5th.

In early May, the Gyeonggi Party of the Democratic Party of Korea filed a complaint with the prosecution alleging that it violated the electoral law of public officials, claiming that Kim Eun-hye, the then governor of Gyeonggi-do , had denounced the reduced ownership of 1.6 billion won, including buildings and title deeds owned by his spouse.

In this regard, the side of the candidate Kim said: “There has been some error in the staff at the job level regarding the declaration of ownership. We will do our best to do our best in the future.”

Meanwhile, the case was transferred to Bundang Police Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, which is the police station responsible for Kim’s residence.
