Summer timetable: Dresden and Leipzig/Halle offer significantly more destinations

Leipzig/Halle Airport
Athens is new to the flight schedule. Starting in May, Condor will fly to the Greek capital on Mondays and Thursdays. From July, passengers can also conveniently travel via Athens to eleven new destinations, including popular ones such as Naxos, Paros and Mytilene on Lesvos.

With up to 34 weekly departures to 11 destinations, Condor is the number one leisure airline at Leipzig/Halle Airport. In addition to the new destination Athens, the holiday regions of Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Funchal, Heraklion, Hurghada, Corfu, Kos, Rhodes and Mallorca are also served.

With up to 19 and 14 departures a week, European Air Charter and Freebird Airlines Europe fly to sunny destinations around the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and the Atlantic. Lufthansa connects Leipzig/Halle Airport up to five or three times a day with the hubs in Frankfurt and Munich. From May, Eurowings will fly to Düsseldorf twice a day, Monday to Friday. Turkish Airlines is also returning to Leipzig/Halle and is planning daily flights to Istanbul from July.
Austrian Airlines flies to Vienna Mondays to Fridays and Sundays, and from June also on Saturdays. Vueling Airlines offers flights to Paris on Mondays and Fridays. Leipzig/Halle Airport’s summer flight schedule offers connections to 26 destinations in 15 countries. Up to 196 flights depart per week.

Dresden Airport
The European metropolises of Amsterdam, London and Zurich are back in the summer flight schedule from Dresden. KLM is gradually expanding the offer and will fly to Amsterdam daily. SWISS is also increasing the frequency and will fly Mondays to Fridays and Sundays between Dresden and Zurich from May. Ryanair connects London with the Saxon capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Lufthansa flies to the Frankfurt and Munich hubs up to five or four times a day. Eurowings connects Dresden with Düsseldorf Monday to Friday and Sunday. There are flights to Cologne/Bonn from Monday to Friday and from the end of June on Sundays. Flights to Stuttgart are offered up to twice a day from Monday to Friday. Ryanair connects Dresden with Palma de Mallorca “every day except Tuesday”. Eurowings flies to the Balearic Islands from Monday to Friday and on Sundays. In addition, holiday seekers can start from Dresden to Antalya, Heraklion, Rhodes, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Burgas, Varna, Hurghada, Fuerteventura, Corfu and Kos.
