The minister promised to make changes in the near future and “correct these things a little in order to reassure people.”
Lazebnaya emphasizes that citizens have 5 months to reissue subsidies.
The official also recalled that there are four ways to apply for a subsidy: via the Internet, by mail, at the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services and at the Department of Social Security.
The head of the Ministry of Social Policy spoke about the possibility of depriving citizens of the right to receive a subsidy if it is revealed that they do not meet the requirements for receiving, and, accordingly, how many people will have to return already assigned payments.
“I can’t say what will happen to deposits … Now the cost of the deposit is 56 thousand hryvnia, we will raise it to 100 thousand hryvnia – that’s for sure. I just don’t know how many failures there can be if you have a deposit account. I know for sure that all other criteria … This may be a refusal of 3% of the current number of households, “- said Lazebnaya.
At the same time, the minister added that the department will analyze each refusal and, if necessary, return subsidies to citizens.
