Streaming site Twitch is pulling the plug on its free karaoke game Twitch Sings. It company announced Saturday that it would stop after less than two years.
Fans can karaoke live in the game until January 1. Twitch will begin the removal of recordings containing Twitch Sings created.
Twitch Sings was developed by Harmonix, known for among others Rock Band. Players can broadcast their karaoke sessions live via Twitch with the game.
Twitch users are called their Singsdownload and archive videos if they want to keep them. Before the service is discontinued, Twitch will add up to 400 new songs to the service.
It is not clear why Twitch has decided to discontinue the game.
