The prefecture of Bas-Rhin, as in previous demonstrations, has, by decree, prohibited the demonstration to take place in the city center (island ellipse), because of the “health context”, “public disturbances” recently observed (during previous events) and to ensure the safety of all (customers of shops and traders). An appeal had been lodged against this decree of the prefect Josiane Chevalier. It was rejected by the administrative court on Friday.
