It went viral for a woman in Pemalang, Central Java, named Putri (23) with her story of suffering from several diseases at once, including stomach infections, kidney cysts, inflammation of the urinary tract, and a buildup of gas from the stomach to the intestines. Putri shared this story via her personal TikTok account @alsy.putri.
At first, he admitted that he often had stomach aches. Because she had been suffering from stomach acid for a long time, Putri thought that the stomach ache was the result of fatigue and a normal stomach ache.
“I often feel symptoms of asthma and other things, I just think it’s normal stomach ache because I’ve been sick a lot,” explained Putri to detikcom, Tuesday (31/10/2023).
Instead of getting better, the stomach pain he experienced got worse. He also checked himself at the health center. However, the doctor only stated that he had a stomach ache.
“So I always complained that my stomach was hurting, I thought my stomach was rising. Then I went to the health center, the doctor said it was from the stomach,” he said.
Putri also had a toothache and was taking antibiotics and pain medication. When taking this medicine, Putri began to feel severe stomach pain from the pit of her stomach to the stomach and intestines. He also found that his stomach was enlarged.
As a result, he decided to check himself at several clinics and even to a gynecologist.
“At the first clinic they said ‘oh this is because of your stomach, sis’, but when I took the medicine it still hurt. Finally I tried going to a different clinic, and went to an ultrasound to see a gynecologist, afraid there was a problem in my uterus. But it turned out everything was safe and the doctor was too “They said it was because of the stomach, then they only gave him medicine,” said Putri.
As time went by, the pain he complained of got worse. Putri started to feel pain in the right and upper abdomen. He also often feels back pain making it difficult to move.
“But for a long time the pain was so bad that it hurt to sit, to walk, it hurt to sleep and I couldn’t even tilt to the right or left. Finally, when I went back to work, I couldn’t take it anymore, so I dared myself to go to the hospital,” he explained.
While waiting for the doctor, Putri’s condition dropped and she was rushed to the emergency room. Putri was treated and referred to a specialist in internal medicine to perform an abdominal ultrasound.
When examined, there was a buildup of gas in Putri’s stomach and intestines and there was a cyst on her right kidney.
“When I checked it, it turned out that there was a buildup of gas from the stomach to the intestines and when I looked at the kidney, it looked like a small lump. Well, the doctor said it was a cyst. If the kidney measures 8cm, my cyst measures 2.5 x 2.6cm, so it’s still small,” ” he added.
It didn’t end there, the doctor also said that his kidney function had decreased due to unbalanced creatinine levels. Then, when he carried out further examinations with an internal medicine specialist, he was diagnosed with a stomach infection, kidney cyst, anemia and inflammation of the urinary tract all at once.
“The next day he immediately took his blood for a lab check and the results turned out to be low creatinine, anemia, low Hb too, so why did the doctor finally say that the creatinine was out of balance so there was a decrease in kidney function. When he checked again with a specialist, it turned out to be a stomach infection, kidney cyst, anemia and inflammation. urinary tract,” he explained.
Putri explained that the cause of her illness was an unhealthy lifestyle. He admits that he rarely eats, but likes to eat spicy snacks and sweet drinks. Moreover, he rarely exercises and drinks water.
“For those of you who are still healthy, let’s take care of your diet before you regret it. I also rarely exercise and I almost never get sick,” explained Putri in one of her TikTok caption posts.
