Wildlands closed, Noorderplantsoen too

Wildlands in Emmen decided to close the doors around half past three for security reasons. In Groningen the municipality closed the Noorderplantsoen for traffic.

The Rolderstraat is closed in Assen, because a jetty was about to fall.

Ships are hiding in Eemshaven, high tide on Monday

In Eemshaven it is busier than normal. Many captains have sent their ships to the harbor to shelter from the storm.

Weather experts expect Ciara in two fronts

According to meteorologists, Ciara is racing in two fronts over the Northern Netherlands. The first front passes from 5 pm. The second front is expected from 8 pm. Heavy showers with gusts of 120-130 kilometers per hour could occur in this.
