TILBURG – On December 22, a Cornelissen trailer was stolen in Tilburg. The trailer’s license plate is OS-08-SB but has now been fitted with a French license plate.
The trailer was seen on December 23 between Winterberg and Willingen in the Sauerland.
Gerrit Walgemoet of Investigation and Recovery Service calls on drivers and holidaymakers to solve this theft.
“Recently we have received noticeably more theft reports of refrigerated trailers and/or trailers, but often loaded. The thefts take place throughout the country. A GPS system is often hidden in the refrigeration engines and this is known to the thieves’ guild. Our advice is to use a passive sounding transmitter,” Walgemoet advises.
