Stocker ad Hoyos: “Pink support for social democracy takes on bizarre forms”

With today’s attack against the planned U-committee of the People’s Party, the NEOS want to cement their role as the SPÖ’s stirrup holders

Vienna (OTS) “The pink support for social democracy is taking bizarre forms. Hardly any claim seems too bold for the NEOS when it comes to endearing themselves to their comrades. The NEOS General Secretary Hoyos claimed in a broadcast today that the People’s Party is ‘targeting hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs’ simply because questionable red and blue events of the past are being investigated,” says the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, in response to the NEOS’s polemical broadcast -Secretary General Douglas Hoyos.

“Nothing like that is planned, of course. The People’s Party’s investigative committee has a clear goal of draining the red-blue swamp. It’s about a balanced clarification of political issues: nothing more and nothing less,” Stocker further emphasizes and finally adds: “It seems as if the NEOS have still not learned anything from the catastrophic coalition in Vienna and the expropriation fantasies of the Marxist Babler . The desire for a traffic light government is still too great – so great that one’s own red lines, such as the introduction of an inheritance tax, are deliberately pushed aside. But we see that this coalition is failing miserably in Germany. The traffic light must be a warning signal to all sensible people in this country. It is now fair to say that the Pinks are more concerned with fighting the People’s Party than with the well-being of Austria.”
