Household appliances, furniture, typewriters, antiques, tools, bicycles, mowers. About 30 degrees Celsius did not discourage buyers from visiting the Gorzów Stock Exchange. Today (on Sunday, August 16), there was a crowd from morning to noon. There were also many sellers. It was one of the largest exchanges during the pandemic.
During a pandemic, the stock market is as restricted as for trading. You have to keep social distance, wear masks, etc. In practice, however, it is extremely difficult: there is no air conditioning on the stock exchange, which is already the norm in stores today, but there is gigantic heat and dust.

Trade on Sunday: the crowd at the Gorzów Stock Exchange
Despite the heat pouring down from the sky, today’s stock exchange was very rich – both in buyers and sellers. Buyers are not discouraged even by the fact that it has recently increased from PLN 2 to PLN 5 parking fee. – I have no idea why, since the so-called parking lots are still as bad as they were, i.e. a hole in the hole and full of dust – a stock exchange visitor is angry.
Traders also complain about “per square” rates. – Look, I have been sitting since morning, I have sold a lot of things, it is really going great, and I calculated that I am only PLN 50 ahead – our reporter overheard such a conversation between the seller and his friend just before 11.00.

Despite various comments and reservations in terms of trade, the stock exchange in Gorzów is doing well. Today, our reporter noticed, for example, self-propelled mowers from the 1950s of the last century for PLN 1,500 (English) and PLN 900 (German). – They’re great machines. The modern ones will be lying on the scrap metal, while mine will still spin nice! – praised the seller. A well-preserved box with bullets from the German army cost 50 zlotys, a stuffed weasel – 150 zlotys, nice grandparents made of plaster on a bench – 100 zlotys, a wedding couple (- for a cake or a car – encouraged the seller) – 20 zlotys.

You could buy dishwashers for PLN 300-400, a high (about 180 cm) inox refrigerator – for PLN 500. A stainless steel sink with a battery cost PLN 100, which is as much as a pontoon or a set of four chairs with an upholstered seat and backrest in very good condition. You had to pay PLN 300 for a loft-style lamp. – Completely scrap metal, my job, unique – said the seller.
Beautiful sunflower flowers cost PLN 3 per piece, yellow green beans – PLN 7 / kg, tomatoes were sold for PLN 5. Some prices can also be seen in the pictures in our gallery.
