Maria B. Jordan | THE PRESS OF LARA.- Fifty pregnant received medical attention and medications yesterday at the outpatient Doctor Daniel Camejo Acosta, in order to provide well-being to the women of the Ana Soto parish, formerly Juan de Villegas.
They were treated in two batches of 25 women each one in order to fulfill the physical distancing and have all the forecasts for the pandemic with the use of face masks. Laboratory tests were performed on all of them and after that a breakfast. In addition to that, they gave her vitamins and a baby care kit for the time of delivery.
Rafael Agüero, doctor and director of the clinic, said that they are working to transform the institution and create an area of operating rooms and hospitalization to provide care to the people of the parish “and this is one of the first activities we carry out” in conjunction with private and public organizations.
Agüero indicated that they will continue to carry out these types of activities and health days and they are working to improve the clinic “this is the first part of what it will be and we show that as a team, things can be done with dedication, respect and sincerity.”
