This circular is about Amendments to Circular Letter No. 7 of 2020 concerning Criteria and Requirements for the Travel of People in the Adaptation Period of New Habits Towards Productive and Safe Communities Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Compliance with the rules is expected to continue to suppress the total cases of COVID-19.
The following are the conditions of domestic and foreign travel during a pandemic corona virus:
1. Every individual who travels is obliged to apply and adhere to health protocols namely wearing masks, keeping a distance, and washing hands as a person’s travel criteria.
2. Domestic travel requirements:
a. Every individual who travels in a private vehicle is responsible for their health, and is subject to and complies with applicable terms and conditions.
b. Every individual who travels on land, rail, sea and air public transportation must meet the following requirements:
– Show identification (KTP or other valid identification)
– Show a PCR test certificate with a negative result or a Rapid-Test test certificate with non-reactive results that are valid for 14 days upon departure
– Show a symptom-free certificate such as influenza (influenza-like illness) issued by the Doctor of the Hospital / Puskesmas for areas that do not have PCR Test facilities and / or Rapid-Test
c. Domestic travel requirements are exempt for commuter trips and people traveling within agglomerated regions / regions
d. Download and activate the Care Protect application on mobile devices in the Appstore or Playstore.
3. Travel requirements for people arriving from abroad
a. Every person who comes from abroad should be subject to the terms and conditions that apply
– Every person who arrives from abroad must conduct a PCR Test at the time of arrival, if they have not performed and cannot show the PCR Test result letter from the country of departure
– PCR Examination Tests for travel of foreign arrivals are excluded from PLBN (Post-State Border Posts) which do not have PCR equipment, by conducting a rapid test and showing a certificate of symptom-free such as influenza (influenza-like illness), and are excluded for the trip of commuter people who are through PLBN by showing a certificate of symptoms-free such as influenza (influenza-like illness) issued by the Hospital Doctor / health authority
b. During the waiting time for PCR Test results, each person must undergo quarantine at the special quarantine accommodation provided by the government or
c. Utilizing quarantine accommodations (hotels / inns) that have been certified by the organization of quarantine accommodation COVID-19 and the Ministry of Health
