Confinement, perimeter closure and curfews of the Autonomous Communities, dates and times

The state of alarm, which from next Monday, November 9, will be extended until May 9, allows Autonomous communities impose mobility restriction measures, such as perimeter confinements o go night curfews.

The map is diverse and can be applied both throughout the community and within it, either by province, municipality or health zone. We review which regions have imposed perimeter and until when will they keep the closures, as well as the different schedules curfew in each region.


Of the confined territories, be it community, province, locality or zone, You cannot enter or leave except for just cause, such as going to work, attending a medical appointment or teaching centers (schools, universities, institutes …), carrying out administrative procedures or exams or caring for dependents, among others.

Yes they can be crossed these territories with perimetre, as long as the origin and destination is different from that of a confined area, be it autonomy, province, locality or zone.



This is how each community applies perimeter closures

Andalusia

Perimeter closure of the entire community.

Municipalities: Añora (Córdoba) and all those in the Campo de Gibraltar (Cádiz) region, which are Tarifa, Algeciras, Castellar de la Frontera, Jimena de la Frontera, San Martín del Tesorillo, San Roque, La Línea de la Concepción and Los Neighborhoods.

Aragon

Perimeter closure of the entire community until January 31.

Provinces: all, until January 31.

Cantabria

Perimeter closure of the entire community until January 16.

Castile and Leon

Perimeter closure of the entire community until May 9.

Castilla la Mancha

Perimeter closure of the entire community.

Municipalities: Manzanares, Membrilla, La Solana, Llanos del Caudillo, Alhambra and San Carlos del Valle (Ciudad Real), until January 17.

Catalonia

Perimeter closure of the entire community until January 17.

Municipalities: all, until January 17.

Ceuta

Perimeter closure of the entire autonomous city until January 31.

Madrid’s community

Sanitary zones: in Madrid capital, Andrés Mellado (Chamberí), Aravaca (Moncloa) and General Moscardón (Tetuán), until January 18; Sanchinarro, Virgen del Cortijo, Benita de Ávila and Silvano (Hortaleza), Mirasierra and Las Tablas (Fuencarral-El Pardo), Jazmín (Ciudad Lineal), Montesa, General Oráa and Baviera (Salamanca), Alpes and Rejas (San Blas-Canillejas ) and Barajas and Alameda de Osuna (Barajas), until January 25.

Estremadura

Galicia

Active perimeter in 64 municipalities with the possibility of traveling between municipalities in the same affected area in some cases. The joint perimeter closures are as follows:

Balearic Islands

The delivery of a negative PCR test is required to enter any of the islands. Balearic residents can take the test for free at origin.

Canary Islands

Perimeter closure of the entire archipelago, which does not prevent entry and exit to the territory, but requires a negative test (antigens, PCR) to travel to the islands either by air or sea.

As collected in Royal Decree 956/2020 of November 3, are the autonomous governments who fix the night curfews from the extension of the alarm state. Thus, since November 9, the communities have the power to keep it, eliminate it or change its schedule.

The autonomies can implement a curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., although they can advance or delay it with an hour of margin, that is, between 22:00 and 00:00 or between 5:00 and 7:00 am.
