MONTE CASEROS, KOMPAS.com – A 10 year old girl in Argentina is allegedly raped and impregnated by her stepfather.
It then gave birth and an event was held baby shower for him by the local church.
The girl’s family posted photos of the event on social media, which show the girl getting dressed up and standing behind a gift table for her child.

The girl’s stepfather, Horacio Insaurralde, 31, allegedly raped the unnamed child earlier this year at his home in Monte Monte Caseros, Argentina, after the victim and his mother moved.
Reported The Sun On Saturday (12/09/2020), the victim’s mother separated from Insaurralde and moved in with her daughter.
However, 2 months later the victim’s grandmother saw the girl’s stomach enlarge and the doctor confirmed that she was pregnant.

Abortion in Argentina which is a Catholic country is illegal, and families want to adopt a law that exempts victims rape.
But the family doctor, who according to a local feminist group is deeply religious, reportedly advised against an abortion because the girl was 24 weeks pregnant.
The girl finally continued her pregnancy, then the Church of the Apostolic and Prophetic Ministry of Monte Caseros organized an event baby shower.

To the newspaper Page 12, the priest assured the “celebrations” stick to Covid-19 rules with only the closest relatives attending the event.
Two days later the girl headed for the Eloisa Torrense de Vidal Neonatal Hospital.
Doctors performed a cesarean section because they were worried that the child would not be able to deliver the baby naturally.
The girl then gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
