Stefan Savic is the cause of the chaos Atlético vs Man City

Stefan Savic could be said to be the culprit of the commotion that occurred in the duel Atletico Madrid vs Man City.

The Montenegrin defender was involved in a series of feuds between Atletico and Man City players on and off the pitch.

The incident that caused the commotion did not come from Savic, but Felipe’s tackle on Phil Foden. But departing from the incident, Savic then dragged Foden off the field.

Savic’s intention of removing Foden so that the match could continue was met with strong opposition from Man City’s players.

The commotion was inevitable. Savic was then surrounded by The Citizens players. Two players even had time to get close to Savic and without a doubt the former Man City player used physical contact in a confrontation.

Savic grabbed Grealish who had launched a verbal attack on him. After that Savic also headbutted Raheem Sterling who approached him.

The player, who was once a Fiorentina costume, got a yellow card from referee Daniel Siebert.

Seemingly not satisfied with just spilling his emotions on the pitch, Savic then also vented his anger at Grealish in the hallway leading to the dressing room.

In the widely circulated footage, Savic and Grealish had to be detained by several people to prevent a physical fight.

Apart from the explosive emotions that sparked a commotion, Savic’s performance in the Atletico vs Man City match was actually quite good. His defensive action, aerial duels and tackles, made it difficult for Man City. Savic also became one of the players in the top five most possession of the ball in the match.
