Interim manager Manchester United Ralph Rangnick mention problems with Anthony Martial it’s finished. He also talked about the striker’s chances of getting into the squad vs. Brentford.
Rangnick’s relationship with Martial was strained last weekend. The trigger, the MU interim manager revealed that Martial was reluctant to be brought into the match against Aston Villa on Sunday (16/1/2022) early morning hrs ago.
He doesn’t want to be in the squad, “Rangnick said.
“Usually he would be in the squad, but this time he didn’t want to. That’s the reason why he didn’t go with us yesterday.”
Martial also reacted to the statement. Through his social media, he denied refusing to be brought to the match.
Martial himself is actually already heading for the exit Manchester United because of its position that has been eliminated on the front lines. But this issue takes the situation to another level.
Ahead of the match against Brentford, Thursday (20/1) early morning WIB in the Premier League, Rangnick provided the latest news regarding the problem with Martial.
“I spoke privately with him on Sunday about what happened last time and how I see the whole situation, and the issue is now resolved,” he was quoted as saying. Sky Sports.
Martial himself has resumed training today and Rangnick is reviewing his condition. If judged ready, the French striker will enter the squad.
“He didn’t train yesterday and two days ago, he will probably train today and after training I will decide whether he is in the squad or not.”
