AUSTRALIA, KOMPAS.TV- Be careful when having sex in Australia, especially if you remove the condom. The reason is, this attitude in Australia is considered a criminal act and deserves punishment.

This is inseparable from the Liberal Party’s proposal in Canberra regarding changes to sexual consent legislation to prohibit the practice known as stealthing. Stealthing is the act of opening a condom during sexual activity without consent.

Opposition leader Elizabeth Lee said, stealthing carries risks to physical and psychological health, including the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, unplanned pregnancies, depression, and in some cases, traumatic stress (post-traumatic stress disorder).

Stealthing is a terrible thing that can be done to both women and men, to anyone, “said Elizabeth, as quoted from ABC Indonesia, Thursday (22/4/2021).

According to him, removing safety devices during sexual intercourse can erode the trust that a person places at his most vulnerable moments.

“This is a violation of one’s dignity and autonomy,” he added.
